The ESRB has rated Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice from FromSoftware. Given that the game follows the One-Armed Wolf, a left-for-dead ninja, it may not surprise people to know it has received a "Mature" rating suggesting it is best suited for potential players who are 17 or older.
The official ESRB rating warns people about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice‘s blood and gore, as well as its violence. However, those are the only two content descriptors offered. The ratings summary very briefly goes over the story, which is set in Japan during the Sengoku period, and offers short descriptions of some of the violent acts people will see.

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a disgraced shinobi on a quest to rescue his kidnapped lord in ancient Japan. Players use swords and a prosthetic arm to battle members of an enemy clan and supernatural demons in frenetic combat. Large blood-splatter effects occur as enemies are killed; some attacks result in decapitation and/or dismemberment. Cutscenes depict additional acts of violence: a man impaled through the chest with a sword; a child stabbed with a sword off screen.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 22, 2019.
