There is good news for people who missed grabbing the Silent Hills PT demo back when it was delisted in 2015. A fan going by the name of RadiusGordello has created and released Unreal PT. This is a PC remake of the sample that lets people experience the game in Unreal and even includes VR support.

Radius Gordello began work on Unreal PT in April 2018, with the intention of making a college portfolio piece practicing modeling and texturing with the hallway from PT used as an inspiration. It then spiraled into a full remake, which took nine months to complete. All elements were completely recreated. Now, the 633MB Windows PC sample can be downloaded from Itch.io.

Here are the minimum PC specs for Unreal PT. Note that if you start the game with a VR headset connected, the game will begin in VR mode. Room scale VR is not supported, but VR motion controllers are.

Minimum Tested Specs:
CPU: i3-7100U 7th Generation with Intel HD 620
GPU: Integrated
RAM: 8GB DDR4
HQ SSR Turned off and resolution at 35% gets ~30fps with these specs

Here is the Unreal PT release trailer.

Unreal PT is immediately available for free for PCs. The original Silent Hills P.T. was revealed in 2014 for the PlayStation 4, then officially canceled in April 2015.
