The January 2019 Nintendo Switch Online NES game library additions have been announced. On January 16, 2019, people worldwide who subscribe will have access to the action-RPG Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and Blaster Master. Japan gets one additional game, Joy Mech Fight.

Zelda II: The Adventures of Link is a game that mixes an overworld and side-scrolling areas as people face off against Ganon’s minions and sets out to both save Hyrule and awaken a sleeping Zelda. It marked the debut of Dark Link. it originally launched in 1987.
Blaster Master is a run-and-gun game where players follow Jason as he goes through underground areas filled with 2D and overhead segments, fighting off mutants. He accomplishes this on-foot or inside of an armored tank called Sophia the 3rd. It originally debuted in 1988, and a Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch remake called Blaster Master Zero appeared in 2017.
Now, while Joy Mech Fight is exclusive to Japan, people who have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in another country can still access it. What you need to do is create a Japanese Nintendo Network ID and log into it on your Nintendo Switch. When in the Japanese eShop, download its Famicom Nintendo Switch Online app to your system. Then, log into the Famicom Nintendo Switch Online app with the account that has an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Even if you have a North American account and purchased the subscription for that region, you can still play the Japanese games in its app.
Here is the Japanese trailer that shows off Joy Mech Fight. It is a 2-D fighting game in which players take control of Sukapon, a repurposed comedic robot, and fight Dr. Ivan Walnuts’ fighting robots so the evil doctor can’t take over the world. It is not a text-heavy game and has a single player campaign and versus mode. It originally debuted in 1993.
Nintendo Switch Online gives people access to online multiplayer, voice chat, and NES games with additional features like save states and online multiplayer.
