Here Are The Splatoon 2 Spring Fest Shoes And Visors And Their Starting Skills

Recommended Videos

At the end of March 2019, we learned Nintendo would be doling out free Splatoon 2 clothing items to players as part of the global Spring Fest. Now, people can claim the 12 items and start working on improving and making them a regular part of their wardrobes.

The Splatoon 2 Spring Fest items are all available via the Nintendo Switch News Channel. If you check the news section, a Splatoon 2 announcement will be there from either the Squid Research Lab Report or Squid Research Lab Bulletin, depending on your region. Both alerts begin with “Free download!” and have a link that you can click to claim the gear and start the game. As with the Halloween masks and Frosty Fest items, you have to complete this process to grab them.

Here are the starting skills each of the Splatoon 2 Spring Fest free visors have. Each one is a three star item with three extra skill slots to fill:

  • Green Novelty Visor: Special Saver
  • Orange Novelty Visor: Last Ditch Effort
  • Pink Novelty Visor: Tenacity
  • Purple Novelty Visor: Ink Resistance Up

Here are the starting skills the new Splatoon 2 Spring Fest shows have. Like the visors, they are three star items that each have three empty skill slots:

  • Marination Lace-Ups: Special Power Up
  • Midnight Slip-Ons: Object Shredder
  • New-Day Arrows: Ink Recovery Up
  • Pearl Punk Crowns: Ink Saver (Main)
  • Pearl-Scout Lace-Ups: Quick Super-Jump
  • Pearlescent Squidkid IV: Drop Roller
  • Rina Squidkid IV: Bomb Defense Up DX
