People in search of another mobile, turn-based RPG with visual novel elements can head to Google Play and iTunes. Revue Starlight Re Live is now available worldwide. It is free-to-play, though people can pay extra for in-game currency and premium goals.
In Revue Starlight Re Live, players follow a group of girl attending a performing arts school. Unfortunately, stories are disappearing in their world. They need to appear on the Starlight Stage to preserve their Starlight and fight monsters to keep these tales alive.
Ahead of launch, there was a Revue Starlight Re Live preregistration campaign designed to help people start out right by giving them nine free two-star units. Every goal was hit, so all new players get a Karen Aijo, Mahiru Tsuyuzaki, Kaoruko Hanayagi, Futaba Isurugi, Maya Tendo, Claudine Saijo, Junna Hoshimi, Nana Daiba, and Hikari Kagura.
What is especially notable about Revue Starlight Re Live is how it helps people get started. There is one banner that grants people five performers. You are allowed to reroll as many times as you want, so long as you keep the game open, until you are satisfied with your results. (I ended up getting one four-star unit and four three-star units from this process.)
Revue Starlight Re Live is available for Android and Apple iOS devices.
