While it seemed like the next Nintendo Direct would be held at E3 2019, Nintendo has offered up a bit of a surprise. Another one is happening tomorrow! On May 15, 2019, a Super Mario Maker 2 Nintendo Direct will be held. It will begin at 3pm ET/5pm CT/6pm ET.

The Super Mario Maker 2 Direct will focus entirely on the upcoming Nintendo Switch game. It will be 15 minutes long and go over elements people can expect from the creator. Perhaps we will find out how many players it will support, as early reports had “TBA” in place, rather than confirming it will be a single or multiplayer game.

People will be able to catch the Super Mario Maker 2 Direct on YouTube.

Super Mario Maker 2 will come to the Nintendo Switch on June 28, 2019. The original Super Mario Maker is available on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U.
