Square Enix’s upcoming action RPG Oninaki by Tokyo RPG Factory has an interesting system that has the protagonist Kagachi go into battle by “manifesting” the souls of Daemons. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine shares a look at five Daemons and their weapon-types.
In Oninaki, Daemons act as classes or jobs for Kagachi. Each Daemon has its own unique weapons and skills, and you’ll get to switch between them in real-time during battle. The five Daemons shown in the Famitsu preview are Aisha (Sword), Zav (Spear), Will (Axe), Diea (Crossbow), and Izana (Scythe).
