The Death Stranding BB Pod Can Be Used As A Cosplay Accessory Or Lamp

It turns out the Death Stranding BB Pod is more than just a live-sized decoration designed to make the Collector’s Edition more appealing. The accessory that comes with the $199.99 version of the game is also versatile. Hideo Kojima took to Twitter to point out the item could be used as a cosplay accessory, decoration, or lamp.

In a series of photos showcased in Kojima’s tweets, he offered a better sense of size and scale for the Death Stranding BB Pod. In some of the pictures, we see it alongside the Ludens mascot at Kojima Productions. In others, Kojima is holding them. We also get to see how it looks when actually used as a lamp.

As a reminder, the BB Pod, Bridge Baby Pod, was better explained in the Death Stranding release date reveal trailer. It is a failsafe that people in the game can use, with Sam noting that using one means that “you are plugging into the other side.”

Death Stranding will be released for the PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019.
