Microsoft discussed its next Xbox during its E3 2019 media briefing. Xbox Project Scarlett will launch during the Holiday 2020 season. Halo Infinite will launch alongside of it.

A few details about the next Xbox were released. It will use Zen 2 from AMD and Navi. There will be a custom-designed processor for the system as well. It will be capable of 8K and 120fps. It will also have a new generation of SSD, which it will use as virtual ram, to help reduce loading times while playing. It will supposedly be four times as powerful as an Xbox One X. It will also play through allegedly four generations of games with its backwards compatibility.
