Samurai Shodown released last week and while it was originally announced that those who purchase the game early would get a free Season Pass, it is available for everyone on the PS Store (US), but only for five more hours.
The “Season 1 Pass” includes four new characters that will arrive in the following estimated release timing:
- 1st DLC character (planned to release in August 2019)
- 2nd DLC character (planned to release in October 2019)
- 3rd DLC character (planned to release in December 2019)
- 4th DLC character (planned to release in February 2020)
Each DLC character and costume in the Season Pass may be sold separately, and the page notes that if you do get the Season Pass be careful not to purchase the individual ones as it’ll still charge regardless. In addition to the four DLC characters, the Season 1 Pass comes with a free “Retro 3D Nakoruru” costume.
Be sure to grab the Season 1 Pass here quickly, as the free offer ends at 8:00am PT/1:00am ET today, July 2, 2019. Afterwards it’ll go for its original price of $19.99.
