Two major Azure Reflections updates are on the way. One will bring the game to a new audience, while the other will bring a new mode to the console versions of the game. On September 20, 2019, PC owners will be able to pick up the Touhou bullet-hell game for $24.99. In addition, the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will be getting Boss Rush.

In Azure Reflections, Reimu and Marisa find themselves investigating another mysterious incident in Gensokyo. (Cirno’s story eventually unlocks too!) The Scarlet Mist has returned, and it is up to them to go through different stages to fight familiar characters like Patchouli, Remilia, and Sakuya. There are also multiple endings for characters.

The Boss Rush mode will be present in the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC releases. It will receive a simultaneous release when it launches and include two extra bosses.

The latest Azure Reflections trailer goes over things people can expect to experience in the game.

Azure Reflections will come to Steam on September 20, 2019. It is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. In case you missed it, we previously talked about how it plays more like a traditional Touhou games than other spin-offs.
