Persona 5 Royal Has Persona 3 & 4 Protagonists As DLC Battles, Details My Palace Feature

Atlus released The Morgana Report’s final video for Persona 5 Royal. It highlights the “My Palace” customization feature as well as a look at DLC including “Challenge Battles” featuring Persona 3 & 4 protagonists.

“My Palace” is a place that takes shape from the player’s memories. You can place items and completely change all the decorations of My Palace.

You can change into a character of your choice in My Palace.

Decorative items and ornaments are customized using the “Palace Maker.” You can purchase items using “P-Medals.”

P-Medals come from “Awards” which are essentially achievements. You can get them for various accomplishments in daily life parts and battle.

By placing items in My Palace, you’ll have different friends show up. They have dialogue that you’ll only see here, so that’s part of the fun in unlocking various items.

“Archive” allows you to check out movies, BGM, and illustrations.

In the Play Area you can play Daifugo with the others.

The protagonists of Persona 3 and Persona 4 will appear in Challenge Battles as DLC for Persona 5 Royal. These are extra tough fights that puts Joker and friends up against the protagonists.

DLC costumes from other Atlus games will also appear, but we’ll see more on that later.

 

Atlus announced that it’ll host a pre-release livestream for Persona 5 Royal on October 30, 2019 starting at 7:00pm JST.

 

Persona 5 Royal releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 31, 2019. The game releases in the West in 2020. Check our previous report for a look at Kasumi’s introduction in the prologue.
