Remember when Sony went and quietly proposed a price increase to PlayStation Plus last month? Tucked away in one of their older blog post, the news of course was quickly spread through the web regardless. This Labor Day weekend at Groupon, they’ve unceremoniously restock their supplies and you can now get a sweet 25% off PlayStation Plus 1-year membership card before the price increase to $60.
To claim the $37.50 PS Plus card, use coupon code FIRST during checkout at Groupon. Note that this code is for first-time customers only and should work as long as you create an account with a new email/household address. The cards will ship for free but only in the continental US, so our Canadian brothers and residents in AL, HI, and PR are out of luck.

Update: No surprise there, Groupon’s deal is now sold out. :\ Will update if they resurface.
If the Groupon deal sells out, there are two alternative deal ranging from 6% to 10% off at eBay Deals and Monoprice, respectively. Monoprice’s 10% off deal comes courtesy of a Labor Day “BBQ5” coupon that will expire on September 3rd (with an unknown time).
