The trilogy gets completed (somewhat) on the PC as Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII-3 finally arrived on Steam today. The game carries a $19.99 price tag, but now through December 17th it’s 10% off at Steam Store and most authorized retailers. Head over to GMG and use their 20% off code will slice the price to $14.40, a decent price break for release week.
On the console hardware deal front, the Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One are all getting a decent discounts by various retailers this week. Best Buy has the Wii U Mario Kart 8 bundle slashed from the usual $300 to only $250 with free shipping. Walmart, Best Buy and other retailers are still offering the $299 PS4 bundles (Battlefront and Uncharted collection) . Lastly, while a bit unannounced, Microsoft Store is now matching Sony by making a return of the $299 Gears of War Bundle deal (yes, with a free copy of AC Unity).
With the holiday’s fast approaching more console deals are abound. At Best Buy, there’s a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” sale going on for Xbox One and PS4 games with a selection of 274 titles (most of which are recent releases). Also notable is a $15 discount on some special edition PS4 controllers at Best Buy, dropping the price from $64.99 to $49.99.
