The Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 7 demo will cover the game’s introduction. In the announcement, and as translated by Siliconera’s Kazuma Hashimoto, you can play up to the second chapter. Given how text-heavy the game is, it would very likely not be playable if someone is not fluent.

The Harukanaru Toki no Naka de series is made up of period-piece otome games. Each one involves visual novel elements and some sort of RPG battles. While past entries involved tactical affairs, the latest trailers for Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 7 show fights inspired by more traditional, turn-based RPGs. As you can see in the video below, everyone automatically attacks, though you can weigh in during fights by pressing an action button to offer support for specific party members. The “tactical” element this time around seems to involve correctly choosing which members of your party appear in each fight, as every character has a certain element they specialize in.

Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 7 will come to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 18, 2020.
