The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise paid DLC will function similarly to the Nintendo 3DS game Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. People will head to an archipelago to design vacation homes for different villagers. Different islands will have different themes, and everyone will have requests. You can learn to use things like partition walls and pillars. People can also change lighting, add soundscapes, and polish furniture to add effects. People can also buy new furniture only available at the resort to use in their home islands.

There will also be other features. For example, you can have animals share vacation homes. They will then become roommates. You can also decide facilities that will appear there. This will let you set up things like schools or restaurants at vacant buildings on islands. There will also be a Paradise Planning portfolio app in the Happy Home Network. You can then visit past clients to check in with them. This network also lets you see others’ designs and work. Also, any design items, like the pillars, polishing, and lighting, can be applied to your own home island.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise will be amiibo compatible. You could use the cards to invite people to decorate for. You can also get home island residents to appear by giving them souvenirs.

Finally, the expansion will add a new home decorating option. After you hit a certain point, you will be able to redecorate your home island villagers’ homes.
