Animal Crossing New Horizons Paradise Planning Office Showcased

The Paradise Planning office in the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons DLC will feature a staff room on the second floor. The official Japanese Animal Crossing Twitter account revealed new images of the second-floor break room. The images reveal several key elements that players can enjoy, including what looks to be a new DIY bench.

As revealed in the Happy Home Paradise announcement broadcast, the first floor of the office is dedicated to Lottie and Wardell. Lottie is in charge of the front desk, while Wardell is in charge of the office’s gift shop. The gift shop sells hard-to-find furniture that players can purchase with Poki, the resort’s currency. Nintendo also notes that that office building has a terrace attached to it, where you can discuss planning ideas with prospective customers.

The second floor is a staff break room, complete with a hammock for resting and a locker for changing into the Happy Home Paradise uniform. Notably, the center of the room features what looks to be a low table with DIY equipment. To the left of the room is a storage bin. Additionally, there are various new vacation-themed decorations such as polaroids, bongo drums, and starfish.

In other news, a massive free update this week will mark the return of Brewster and his cafe. Players will also be able to farm vegetables and use them to cook foods. The Brewster and cooking update will release on November 5, 2021.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch. The paid Happy Home Paradise DLC expansion will also release on November 5, 2021, and cost $24.99.
