Armored Core and Shin Megami Tensei G-Mode Games Head to Switch

G-Mode will add Armored Core Mobile Mission, Armored Core Mobile 2, Shin Megami Tensei: Tokyo Requiem, and Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX to Nintendo Switch and Steam. Armored Core Mobile Mission and Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX will come out first.

You can already wishlist Armored Core Mobile Mission via Steam, while the others aren’t on the platform yet. Mobile Mission is already out on Nintendo Switch (in Japan), whereas the Steam version will come out on April 30, 2025. As for Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX, it’ll come out on the Nintendo Switch on April 24, 2025. Then, the Steam version will appear on May 8, 2025. The release windows for the G-Mode archived versions of Armored Core Mobile 2 and Shin Megami Tensei: Tokyo Requiem will appear at a later date.

Armored Core Mobile Mission came out as a Japan exclusive in May 2004. It was the first video game in the franchise to come out on flip phone devices. Like Mobile Mission, Shin Megami Tensei 20XX also came out for Japanese cellphones in 2004, and it is a prequel to Shin Megami Tensei II. Tokyo Requiem was also a Japanese-exclusive mobile game that Atlus released in an episodic fashion, which was rare at the time.

Armored Core Mobile Mission is available on the Nintendo Switch and will come out on the Windows PC via Steam on April 30, 2025. Shin Megami Tensei 20XX will come out for the Switch on April 24, 2025. The PC version will come out on May 8, 2025. Other Japan-exclusive cellphone titles G-Mode released in the past include Persona 3 Aigis: The First Mission.
