According to the official Twitter account for Bravely Default II, global sales for the game surpassed 1,000,000 copies. This figure includes both physical and digital versions of the game. In commemoration of this milestone, Square Enix announced several campaigns to thank fans for their support.

Although this promotion seems to be for those in Japan only, there is a 30% discount for Bravely Default II in the Nintendo eShop. The Steam version will go on sale from December 23, 2021 in Japan. Until January 17, 2022, the game costs 5,236 JPY. It originally cost 7,480 JPY.
In addition, there will be a chance to obtain an autograph board of the Heroes of Light, as well as an original Amazon gift card (5,000 JPY worth). To enter the lottery, you must follow the official Bravely Default II Twitter account and then retweet this post. Like the discount, this campaign ends on January 17, 2022. A total of 20 people can win the Amazon gift card, while only one person can get the illustration board.
Bravely Default II came out earlier in 2021, first on the Nintendo Switch and later on Windows PC. Though it has the number 2 in the title, it is technically the third installment of the Bravely series. Unlike the first two games, it follows a new cast on a new adventure, though it retains the same game mechanics and turn-based combat system.
