Big box retailer Best Buy is running a limited time prepaid game card promotion, where if you buy one game card, you can pick up the second game card for 20% off (essentially a 10% off discount).
No expiration date has been set from Best Buy, but this deal started during the weekend and based on our experience it’ll run through the week. This is a well-timed promotion from Best Buy as you can pick up Steam Wallet Card at various denomination and immediately receive 20% off on the second card. Unsurprisingly, if you sort the sales page by “Best Selling” you’ll quickly find that Sony’s PlayStaiton Network Card and Valve’s Steam Wallet Card among the top selling game cards.
The promotion works on over 50 prepaid game card at Best Buy, including PlayStation Network Card, Steam Wallet Card, Xbox Gift Card, Nintendo eShop Card, Roblox, League of Legends Card, GTA Online Card, EA Origin Wallet Card, Blizzard Hearthstone Gift Card, and Blizzard Battle.net Card.
Speaking of the Blizzard Battle.net $20 card, you can potentially get 10% off Overwatch on the PC by picking up two $20 cards at Best Buy for $36, then apply the credit towards your Battle.net account to pick up a copy of Overwatch for a total of $36 (provided of course Battle.net doesn’t charge sales tax in your state). It’s a long way to go about, but it is one of the more legitimate way to actually get a discount on a digital copy of Overwatch.
