Episode of Tsubasa

“Episode of Tsubasa” is a story mode in Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions where you take on the role of Nankatsu Middle School’s eleven. The goal is to win the national championship. The mode also has dramatic action based on famous scenes. You can check these high-quality movies by meeting conditions during matches.

More importantly, the story mode changes based on what happens during matches. This includes leads that didn’t happen in the original work and such story developments. For example, if a match goes into penalty shoot-out then it reflects in the story.

We recently got to check out gameplay for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions and it looks solid so far. It’s good to see that the game features a proper story mode that will be different for each playthrough.

You can also check out a bunch of gameplay details here, with info on special skills, dribbles, the V Zone system, and more.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in 2020. Check out the first trailer here.
