Chrono Cross Remaster Clips Show Serge’s Techs

The latest video clips from the Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreams Edition remaster offer an idea of how techs will look in-game. Specifically, the first two focus on how Serge’s attacks will look. Each of the segments look at abilities he’ll learn fairly early in the game.

First Square Enix showed off how Serge’s Dash & Slash will look in the game. As a reminder, this is one of the very first ones he’ll be able to learn. To get it, you first need to get three boss stars. (These are earned by defeating bosses in the game.)

After that, the second one of the Chrono Cross remaster techs showed Luminaire. This one Serge learns after getting 15 stars. It is a returning skill that Crono also used in Chrono Trigger.

Past updates looked at specific changes available in this version of the game. You can see different font options, character models, and visual modes.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreams Edition will come to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 7, 2022. It also includes Radical Dreamers: Le Tresor Interdit.
