Cyber Monday Wii U Deal is $189 at GameStop But Pre-Owned

We didn’t believe it at first, but it appears Nintendo isn’t out to make money this Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend – given the poor showing of availability on the NES Mini Classic and the much sought-after $99 Nintendo New 3DS Super Mario Black/White Edition. While its clear the Switch is in the future for the company, deals on the Wii U and New 3DS XL have been sparse through the weekend.

In fact, as of early Monday morning we count only a few Nintendo Wii U or New 3DS XL deals available that are due to Cyber Monday related sales. One of the more noteworthy deal is a decently priced $189.99 Nintendo Wii U 32GB bundle with two free games at GameStop. Of course the catch of the great price is that the bundle is pre-owned (including the game even!).

Game Title List % Off Sale Price
Nintendo Wii U 32GB Cyber Monday Blast From Past Bundle (Pre-owned) $313.99 39% $189.99
Wii U Console 32GB Deluxe Set with Mario Kart 8

$299.99 11% $267.99
Wii U 32GB Deluxe Console + Mario 3D World + Nintendo Land (Refurbished) (White) $299.99 28% $215
New Nintendo 3DS XL Black
Use code: EXTRA20
$199.99 15% $169.99

The bundle from GameStop is an online-only affair.Included in the bundle are: a black Nintendo Wii U 32GB System – classified as a “Gamestop Premium Refurbished” unit, Wii U Nunchuk Controller, Wii Remote Controller, Wii Memory SDHC 4.0GB, Super Mario 3D World, and Shovel Knight. Note that the games while excellent titles, are pre-owned too, of course.

If you’d rather have a new unit, the ONLY deal we’ve spotted thus far is at Jet.com where you can apply a discount code to bring the system down to $267.99. While not dirt cheap – its a far cry from list price. Conversely, the same story applies for the New 3DS XL. Short of a similar coupon deal at Jet bringing new units of New 3DS XL to $169.99 – we haven’t spot any other deals for the handheld. We’ll update this post if something else shows up as the day progress – though to be honest we’re certainly not holding our breathe.
