Another Darius collection was announced, this time for both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 from the get-go. Darius Cozmic Revelation will bring G-Darius and Dariusburst, the two most recent games in the series, back to the forefront. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

Compared to Darius Cozmic Collection, which is a collection of the series’ 2D titles, Darius Cozmic Revelation focuses on the two 3D games in the series. As these two games were obvious omissions from Cozmic Collection, this collection will finally unite the Darius series on modern platforms (especially on the Nintendo Switch).
The most recent release for G-Darius was a PlayStation Network PSOne Classic port of the original title, which released for systems like the PlayStation and PlayStation 2. Cozmic Revelation will bring back the game with a full HD remaster. There are also new features that are planned, which will address complaints players had with the previous edition.
Meanwhile, Dariusburst will release as Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX+. For those unfamiliar, Dariusburst was originally a PSP game that was remixed for arcades as Dariusburst Another Chronicle, which was later upgraded to Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX. This means that the latest version is based on the arcade iteration with more additions, rather than the PSP game.
Darius Cozmic Revelation will release for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Winter 2020. The collection was originally announced as Darius Cozmic Collection 2 back in March 2020.
