Bandai first revealed Digimon Con in December 2021. It teased that the global event would have segments dedicated to Digimon anime and games, including the Vital Bracelet gadget. One of the show’s highlights will be a live musical performance by Ayumi Miyazaki, the singer famous for Digimon anime insert songs like “Brave Heart.”

The digital event will be available in two languages. Bandai noted that some segments will have different content between the Japanese and English streams. While the company will publish an archive of the show in the future, it will not include Ayumi Miyazaki’s performance.
