Bandai revealed Digimon Pendulum Z as the new virtual pet series that is scheduled to release in November 2020.
The new virtual pet is based on Digimon Pendulum which originally released in 1998. The original device featured the Pendulum Sensor and the Jogress function. Digimon Pendulum divided its Digimon into six factions based on habitat and attributes. Digimon Pendulum Z comes in three variants: Deep Savers, Nature Spirits, and Nightmare Soldiers.
With all three colors combined, there are over 100 Digimon for Digimon Pendulum Z. These include various Digimon from 1998 to the latest ones from 2020. Some of the version-exclusive Digimon include the following:
Deep Savers
- Hookmon
- Sirenmon
- AncientMermaidmon
Nature Spirits
- Morphomon
- Scorpiomon
- Baihumon
Nightmare Soldiers
- Argomon
- Megidramon
- Witchmon
New Digimon
The +100 Digimon also includes brand-new Digimon for all three colors. Here’s a peek at some of the new Digimon:

The Pendulum function works just the same as the original, where it comes into play for training results and battle power.
However, this time there are new ways to connect with Digimon Pendulum Z to unlock evolution routes. For example, if you connect Nature Spirits with Deep Savers or Nightmare Soldiers, it will unlock the Tailmon route. Deep Savers unlocks the Armadimon route. Nightmare Soldiers unlocks the Warmmon route. Now, if you connect any of Nature Spirits, Deep Savers, or Nightmare Soldiers to the other two, it unlocks Agumon route and Agnimon route for all three devices. This will make it possible to raise Agumon all the way into Agumon Bonds of Courage.
The setting is Folder Continent, where you’ll meet new types of Digimon.
The Digimon Pendulum Z is now available to pre-order until July 31, 2020 at 11:00pm JST. You can pre-order at the Bandai Premium shop for 4,070 yen each. The Digimon Pendulum Z will ship out in November 2020.
