Square Enix is continuing its Stay Home and Play campaign. This time, its efforts in Japan are expanding to the Dragon Quest line with a Stay Home Enjoy Home campaign. A whole website has opened, and its most recent update has added Dragon Quest coloring pages and activity sheets for kids of all ages. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
On the actual page, PDFs are available to download and print. There’s a wide array of activities for people to participate in. The most common item are the Dragon Quest coloring pages, as seven are available. They all mostly focus on different monsters from the series, especially its slimes.
There are also two sheets dedicated to helping people learn to draw slimes. One focuses on a basic slime (or a metal slime or she-slime, depending on which color you make it). The other teaches you to draw a healslime.
Finally, there are two activity pages. One is a spot the difference page, where you look at the two images and see what changes appear. The other presents you with a flock of teeny sanguinis and asks you to find two specific ones.
Square Enix has been attempting to do things to make social distancing and staying home easier. First, it gave away two Tomb Raider games. Then, it launched a Stay Home and Play campaign to keep all of its offers together. This led to a heavily discounted JRPG Steam bundle and the Home de Chocobo initiative to encourage new renditions of “Chocobo Theme.”
