Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi Release Date

Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi will release in Japan on December 1, 2021. This information came via a new trailer, which further highlighted how gameplay will function in the mobile game. In mid-October, pre-registration for Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi began in Japan. While a western release is planned, there is currently no word of a potential release date. [Thanks, Gematsu!]

Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi is a new mobile game set within the Dragon Quest universe. However, this entry is a puzzle focused title, and will not feature the combat system found in most Dragon Quest games. Players will need to align monster-shaped erasers on their screen to create combos. Additionally, players will be able to progress through a multitude of stages and areas.

This puzzle-based title was revealed during the Dragon Quest 35th anniversary broadcast. Viewers received the first look at a cinematic trailer, which revealed the various types of monsters players will be able to obtain. However, it will feature a gacha mechanic.

Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi will release for Android and iOS devices in Japan on December 1, 2021. An official western release date has yet to be confirmed.
