File this under “cheap Xbox One” as Antonline on eBay are offloading about 320 units of new 500GB Xbox One Gears of Wars Ultimate Edition Bundles for only $280. This beats out the rock-bottom pricing we saw during the holiday season of $299.99 (let’s just say its $300).
While this bundle isn’t exactly spewing new games , it introduces an interesting new price point for Microsoft’s 8th gen system. At the non-discounted $350 price point, you’re in a harder situation to move units given how close you are to the 1TB price point (of $400). When you drop to $300, you’re still competing with refurbished units with Kinect… but when you drop to $280? Now you’re approaching lowest spotted pricing for refurbished Xbox One (usually spotted for around $270) – and that’s where potential buyers will take notice.
The under $300 price tag seems to resonate well because eBay told us that there will be 320 units available and sales count is already at about 190, with almost 60% of available inventory sold.
Shipping is free for this Xbox One deal and sales tax is imposed on CA and GA. You’ll also earn 2% back in eBay Bucks, which translate to about $5. Good for an HDMI cable. But not those diamond/gold studded ones. They totally help make the graphics for your new Xbox One even better.
