Embrace a New Power With Dragon Ball Z Kakarot DLC on April 28, 2020

The Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods villain is about to make his Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot debut. A New Power Awakens – Part 1 is about to launch on April 28, 2020 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and people who picked up the $24.99 season pass will be able to see Goku and Vegeta face Lord Beerus in this Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC. However, people who don’t grab the season pass will have to wait until the second part is released in 2020 to get both parts of A New Power Awakens separately in their own bundle.

A New Power Awakens – Part 1 brings in a number of anticipated features that were first teased back in March 2020. Once the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC has been downloaded and applied, both Goku and Vegeta will be able to transform into their Super Saiyan God forms. Which is something folks might desperately need, as Beerus will be a level 250 boss fight. Bandai Namco also noted that this add-on will provide ways for people to level up their characters, perhaps to help prepare for the fight again.

The official Bandai Namco European site for A New Power Awakens – Part 1 includes a number of details designed to be intimidating. The first mentioned that the number of items you have available for the Lord Beerus boss fight will be limited. It is followed by a statement from CyberConnect 2 Producer Ryosuke Hara, who said, “Beerus is so strong, my clear rate for this battle is 1 out of 10!”

Here are some screenshots showing Goku, Vegeta, and Beerus in the new add-on.
