The scheduled Final Fantasy XIV 14 hour broadcast has been postponed. The official Lodestone website states that this is due to the state of emergency that has been declared in Japan. However, the upcoming Live Letter from the Producer LXII that is scheduled for February 6, 2021 will still take place. The date for Final Fantasy XIV 14 hour broadcast will be announced at a later date. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The Lodestone post states that the broadcast has been delayed to prioritize the health of the staff and those involved with the broadcast. Originally, the Final Fantasy XIV 14 hour broadcast was scheduled to coincide with the Live Letter presentation. Additionally, there had been plans to have an audience. This would have been strictly through invitation only, but that plan has now been canceled.
In November 2020, Square Enix announced both Final Fantasy XIV broadcasts, mentioning that “cool things” would be revealed during the presentation. And while the 14 hour broadcast has been postponed, players can still expect to see some announcements during the Live Letter stream.
Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.41 recently went live. This content update patch has added new minions, cosmetic items, and mounts.
Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
