Final Fantasy XIV 6.0 New Mount and Minions Revealed

Square Enix released the Final Fantasy XIV 6.0 preliminary patch notes, and has shared new minions and a mount that will appear after the release of the Endwalker expansion. This includes two new minions, a single mount, and new chocobo barding. Additionally, a new fashion item was teased through the patch notes website as well.

The new minions that will appear in Final Fantasy XIV 6.0 appear to be a crab and some kind of round owl-bear creature. The mount that players can obtain is the Omegascape computer console. The image shows that the player will be inside of the computer console once they have mounted up. You can check out the new minions and mount below.

Additionally, new housing items will be made available to purchase. This includes housing items from the Final Fantasy XIV Furnishing Design contests. A new housing exterior will be available to obtain as well.

Players will also have more hairstyles to choose from for female Viera through the update. However, the patch notes only shared a single hairstyle through the website. New Hrothgar hairstyles will be added sometime during Patch 6.1. Additionally, a new face option will be made available to male Midlander Hyur.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker will release on December 7, 2021. Early access will begin on December 3, 2021.
