Mia and Marth debut a new type of Hero known as Harmonized Heroes, which are similar in nature to Duo Heroes. Like Duo Heroes, Harmonized Heroes have a special ability that they can activate on the regular map screen at any time, but the catch is that it only affects Heroes from their own respective worlds. (For example, Mia’s skill will affect characters from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Fire Emblem Awakening). However, their skills (and possibly all Harmonized Skills) will be able to re-activated every third turn.

It seems that Harmonized Heroes will possibly build upon their bonds that have been depicted in the story of Heroes. Mia and Masked Marth have previously worked together as part of two Tempest Trials, with both Mia’s debut and Halloween Mia.

Rhys: Gentle Basker will be available as a Tempest Trials+ reward.

Summer Celebration

There will be special events to celebrate the summery season, including log-in bonuses of Divine Codes and Ephemera, as well as Reward Maps that are an easy way to gain orbs. These events will begin on June 18.

Additionally, all players are getting to pull a free Summer Special Hero as a gift. The orbs available will be randomized, and will include assets and flaws.

Resonant Battle

A new type of battle is being added to the weekly Coliseum modes, titled Resonant Battles. In traditional Fire Emblem games, many maps have had side objectives, which frequently included the need to reach villages or prevent thieves from escaping with loot, and this mode puts that side objective onto the forefront.

The mode uses the map size of modes like Rival Domains and Grand Conquests, and features thieves running away one space at a time towards the top row of the screen. Some of the thieves are accompanied by Hero bodyguards whom you’ll need to defeat in order to pass by them. By defeating the thieves, you’ll gain back the Arena bonus score that they are carrying. However, you must be careful, as losing a unit will also reduce your score.

Resonant Battles will begin on June 18 with a shorter week, but will run on the weekly schedule afterwards. Divine Codes are the guaranteed reward from this mode, alongside a rotating lineup of secondary rewards.

Aether Raids: Auto-Dispatch

A new feature will be added to Aether Raids as part of the July update – Auto-Dispatch. Rather than fighting other Aether Keeps, you send out an Autobattle squad to fight enemies attacking your own Aether Keep instead. Auto-Dispatch will cost Aether, but you can possibly gain Lift if you’re successful (with more if all your units survive). It’s a good way to play if you don’t have time, or just want to take it easy and use up some remaining Aether. Using Auto-Dispatch will also let you gain the daily rewards.
