More information on the collaboration will be revealed later on, but currently what’s being teased is a campaign where you (or perhaps the collective playerbase) will be asked to punch one million times. As the campaign is being described as a Twitter campaign, players may be asked to upload records of their activities to contribute to this goal.
Fitness Boxing released back in December 2018 in Japan and January 2019 worldwide, and soon became quite popular, with over 400,000 copies moved by August 2019. The game also happens to be the first console video game to be included in the Japan Sports Agency’s “Sports in Life” project, promoting a healthy lifestyle for video gamers and casual audiences alike. Meanwhile, Baki the Grappler is a manga series starring the titular young warrior, who trains in martial arts in hopes of defeating his father. However, he is beaten without challenge, and it is only when he finds an underground fighting ring featuring some of the most powerful fighters of various styles of martial arts that he outgrows his traditional ways of combat and hone his skills even further.
Fitness Boxing is available on the Nintendo Switch.
