Editor’s Note: There will be spoilers for the Genshin Impact Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom Shouki no Kami, the Prodigal Weekly Boss Trounce Domain below.

First, to access the Genshin Impact Shouki no Kami fight and add it to your Weekly Boss Trounce Domain options, you must complete the Archon Quest Chapter 3 Act 5 quest “Where the Boat of Consciousness Lies.” This means you must be at Adventure Rank 35 and caught up with the Sumeru questline.

Like other Weekly Bosses, there are two phases to Shouki no Kami. In each case, a Neo Akasha Terminal is around to aid the player. The first stage involves multi-element AOE attacks. In addition to attacking, someone could charge the Neo Akasha Terminal with the Energy Blocks that appear to remove negative effects from the boss’ attack, possibly create a regen effect, or stun him. These are triggered by stepping on the Elemental Matrices circles that appear on the ground. So stepping on two of the Electro ones would stun the boss.

The second part of this Genshin Impact Trounce Domain involves Shouki no Kami putting up a shield and using a summoning a Nirvana Engine for a Setsuna Shoumetsu attack. Again, getting Energy Blocks, attacking minions, or attacking the boss will chargethe Neo Akasha Terminal so you can attack and destroy the shield. Once that drops, the boss will prepare the large-scale attack. Attacking the Nirvana Engine will let you charge the Neo Akasha Terminal, so you can stop the assault, stun the boss, and then get up closer to it to deal damage.

Shouki no Kami can be fought once each week for rewards. There are level 60, 70, 80, and 90 versions of it available. The unique talent level-up materials you can get from him are Daka’s Bell, Mirror of Mushin, and Puppet Strings. You can also earn Ascension Gems and Artifact Set pieces from lines like Gladiator’s Finale and Wanderer’s Troupe.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. People can also face the Dendro Hypostasis now that patch 3.2 is here.
