Wondering why can’t we be friends? Well, soon we can in Mortal Kombat 11. May 26, 2020 will be a big day for the game. In addition to a new add on, it’s when a free update with elements like new stages and stage fatalities will arrive. It will also be when Mortal Kombat 11 friendships return. To help get people excited about everything they’ll see, an extremely positive video showcasing the new finishers has arrived. It even has a cameo from a much-wanted fighter: Mileena!
The Mortal Kombat 11 friendships trailer begins with the end of a normal match. Scorpion has utterly destroyed Sub Zero. Except that’s when the finisher turns into him pulling in a teddy bear for a hug. From there, a number of other characters’ friendships are teased. Sub Zero brings everyone frozen treats. Kitana and Mileena play patty-cake. Geras builds a sand castle. Raiden dances. It’s a lot.

As a reminder, there are also paid elements arriving on May 26, 2020. That’s when the Aftermath expansion will arrive. It will add a new storyline and Fujin, Robocop, and Sheeva as playable characters.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and its website has updated with Aftermath details. The Aftermath expansion will arrive on May 26, 2020. That’s also the same day the free update with Mortal Kombat 11 Friendships will arrive.
