Note: The trailer and description below contain spoilers for Gundam The Witch From Mercury Season 1.

The season will begin two weeks after the Plant Quetta incident which closed out Season 1. Suletta passes her days at school while she waits for the chance to see her fiance Miorine again. Meanwhile, Miorine watches over her injured father at the Benerit Group’s headquarters. With more hardship, difficult decisions, and different feelings swelling in their chests, the girls will confront the curse that Gundam brings.

The first season of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury debuted in October 2022, but in part due to various delays, the last episode of the season only aired in early January 2023. The season followed the story of Suletta as she attended school at the Asticassia School of Technology, a school where the scions of elite corporations settle their differences with mobile suit duels. Suletta pilots the Aerial, a mobile suit that’s secretly a Gundam, which hides technology forbidden by the Benerit Group, an exploitative mega-conglomerate that rules much of the solar system. Various circumstances lead Suletta to be declared the fiance to Miorine, who is daughter of Deling Rembran, the Benerit Group’s President and the man responsible for the death of Suletta’s father.

Season 2 of Gundam The Witch From Mercury premieres on April 9, 2023 in Japan. A special pre-release program will air on April 2, 2023. The series will also receive simultaneous broadcast outside Japan through various channels.
