The first thing you will need to do to grab this recipe is to plant some shrubs. Thankfully Leif, the ever so helpful sloth, is selling some right outside of your Resident Services building. You’ll want to grab a total of twenty shrubs of any variety and plant them wherever you’d like on your island. The only thing that matters is that you’ll be planting them in order to complete the Shrubbery Hubbubbery Nook Miles achievement.

After you’ve planted those shrub starters, you’ll need to head over to the Resident Services building to talk to Tom Nook. You might remember that he sent you a letter regarding Animal Crossing New Horizons Earth Day additional activities that will be taking place starting April 23, 2020 and last until May 4, 2020.

As part of participating in these additional activities, you’ll be rewarded with a special DIY recipe. Just talk to Tom Nook after you’ve planted your twenty shrubs and he’ll sent the DIY recipe instantly to your Nook Phone.

In order to craft this exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons Earth Day event item, you will need ten clumps of weeds, five tree branches, and two stones. After you’ve collected these, you can head to your DIY bench or the one inside of the Resident Services building to make your very own hedge. Unfortunately, you cannot customize your hedge but it should add some variety to your fencing options.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch.
