Retailers have gone full Chucky Cheese this week with some zany pre-order bonuses on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Pre-ordering the game before this Friday’s launch could make you, yes you, the proud owner of a plastic Infinite Warfare cup or the wearer of a Limited Edition Call of Duty socks. Don’t everyone go rushing out for a copy.
Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to some of the
worst um, most interesting pre-order bonuses we’ve seen to date for 2016. If these do strike your fancy, by all means purchase away, but if you rather pick up dollar value in bonuses instead of these physical items, read on.
Update 11/4: New coupon code at GMG makes the PC versions of Infinite Warfare 20% off. Legacy sold out, but other editions still valid.

The worst deal from the batch above is the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare + Season Pass combo deal for $104.98 at Best Buy. This is promoted as “saving you $5” when you buy the two separately… but you’re insane if you buy the game that way. In fact this whole “deal” simply doesn’t make a lot of sense. Best Buy gives you the option to buy any version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – like say the Xbox One version, and then are willing to sell you the PS4 Season Pass at a $5 discount. This could not only easily trip someone up, but it’s also not the best way to buy the game + Season Pass. Instead you should buy Delxue Edition of Infinite Warfare, which sells for $99.99. This includes the base game, Season Pass, and the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered game.
The second crazy offer at Best Buy is the “Prestige Icon Pack” of the game, which is exclusive to Best Buy. For $95 you’re basically getting the Legacy Edition of the game ($80 alone) with two additional bonuses: a Collectible Icon Series Patch Display (not sure what size this is) and a pair of limited edition socks (hopefully they ship in your size). Is it worth an extra $15? You decide. (It’s not). Finally, there’s Walmart’s offer which includes a bonus Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare plastic cup. Burger King approves.
For those interested in legitimate deals via cash discount or pre-order bonuses on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, look to the top two table for the current best picks across all major platforms. You will mostly discount around 15% off for Steam copy of Infinite Warfare (including Legacy and Deluxe). On the console front, $10 rewards or gift card is the norm. All deals above are valid while the game is under pre-order status, we’ll update accordingly when the game is released.
