Kaede Takagaki will be the first DLC character to appear in The Idolmaster: Starlit Season. She will be the main star of the new DLC collection that comes out on December 9, 2021.
The third DLC catalog for Starlit Season will feature the second expansion story, titled “Luminous Azure.” Kaede Takagaki, the Cinderella Girls idol voiced by Saori Hayami, will be the star of the new story. She will lead a group of idols with a cool persona in performing a new song titled “Dance-Dance-Dance.” The DLC collection will also add more costumes to the lineup.
In the new trailer, available to watch right below, Bandai Namco also revealed that it will release an update unlocking the second area in Luminous Japan 47 mode on December 9, 2021. The Southern Area will consist of prefectures in Kyushu and Okinawa. This update will be available to all players, regardless of whether they have purchased any DLC or not.

Previously in November 2021, Bandai Namco announced that it will add more idols from the featured Idolmaster mobile titles as DLC characters. In addition to Kaede, the company also plans to add Kotoha Tanaka from Million Live and Mamimi Tanaka from Shiny Colors‘ L’Antica group. The new stories with the DLC characters will take place after the in-game story, which features Project Luminous.
The Idolmaster: Starlit Season is immediately available on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam in Japan and Asia.
