With 4K support and 60fps at default, Tales of Berseria‘s PC port is shaping up to have all the right boxes checked (sans the Denuvo DRM but what can you do). If you’re a fan of the Tales game series, by all accounts Berseria will take you into another deep session both in the main and side quest.
The game will unlock in less than a day – and if you’re interested in picking up a copy – the best deal online is available for 14% off at Gamesplanet for the Steam key – pricing the game at about $42.82 after GBP to USD conversion. Unlike what we saw with another recent Bandai Namco title (God Eater 2) – the discounts available for Tales of Berseria is rather sparse for release week.
If you’re not in a hurry to play the game during Day 1 tomorrow or release week – we’d suggest checking back in about 2-3 months, as that’s when you’ll usually see discounts around 20% to 25% off. Plus, we’ll be edging toward the first seasonal sale for the year, and these past year – Bandai Namco has been especially aggressive on digital sales, particularly skipping Steam and directly off their own online store front.
Tales of Berseria will release on the PC tomorrow on January 26, 2017. The game is currently the #4 top seller on Steam Store in North America, and for Games Planet, it is currently #2 on the top seller list. The current deal will last through the rest of the week, as far as we know.
