Konami revealed plans to release a massive Castlevania OST soundtrack collection in December 2021. The collection will be 26 volumes in total divided into 13 CDs. It will come in two separate sets, titled Castlevania Black and Castlevania Red, with both sets up for pre-order on the official Japanese Konami store starting September 27, 2021. [Thanks Gamer!]
Those who pre-order these Castlevania soundtracks on Konami’s online store will also receive a special 14-track CD. This will feature the MIDI arrangements of songs from Castlevania: Dracula X. To also commemorate the release of this collection, Konami released four official graphic t-shirt designs on Amazon Japan. Recently the Castlevania Advance Collection was announced during the September 23, 2021 Nintendo Direct. It was then made immediately available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The collection features three Gameboy Advance titles—-Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow—-as well as the SNES title Castlevania: Dracula X. Aria of Sorrow‘s Nintendo DS sequel Dawn of Sorrow is not a part of the collection, however.
Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls also made its return to the Apple Arcade as an exclusive mobile title and is now available to subscribers. You play as legacy characters from the franchise such as Alucard, Shanoa, and Simon Belmont in order to clear Grimoires, with daily missions and multiplayer also available.
The Castlevania OST collection will release on December 15, 2021 in Japan and is available to pre-order now.
