Kuro no Kiseki Will Have Fie and Zin Return as Sub Characters

Nihon Falcom has updated The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki official website with pages for more sub-characters. Kuro no Kiseki will see the return of two existing characters from prior Trails titles — Fie Claussell and Zin Vathek. The new update also introduced Shizuna Rem Misurugi, a master swordswoman affiliated with a samurai group. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

You can read the new character biographies right below.

Fie Claussell

The Trails of Cold Steel debutant Fie is now 20 years old in Kuro no Kiseki. She works as a B-class bracer in the Empire’s Bracer Guild. She comes to the Republic of Calvard as a helper, since the branch does not have enough personnel to deal with the increasing amount of cases.

Fie has outstanding physical and combat abilities, thanks to her past experiences as a Jager. Despite looking cool, she also has a good sense of humor. She can even nonchalantly crack some jokes while talking to her senior, Elaine Auclair.

Zin Vathek

Zin the Immovable also makes his return after debuting in the Trails in the Sky series. He was recommended for S rank in the Bracer Guild for his roles in solving prior major cases. However, he turned down the offer and settles with a Semi-S rank.

At his current age of 36, Zin is known as an expert in the Taito school, one of the three major Eastern martial arts in the series’ universe. He has a female senior younger than him who currently works in the Central Intelligence Department. Zin also has another male senior who hasn’t been in touch due to being affiliated with Ouroboros. He is now looking forward to seeing his hopeful junior Elaine grow up.

Shizuna Rem Misurugi

Shizuna is a 23 years-old swordswoman and the vice leader of Ikaruga, the strongest samurai group with its headquarters located somewhere in the eastern part of the continent. As an expert of the Kokushin Ittoryu style, she fights with a jet-black Odachi sword. She also has “The Silver Master Swordswoman” as her title.

Although Shizuna’s face may still have some childlike features, her expressions become elegant and suiting of her title when she crosses swords with strong opponents. The Japanese voice actress Maaya Uchida will provide the voice for her.

In June 2021, two other sub-characters were revealed for Kuro no Kiseki. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki will be available for PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 30, 2021, and the rest of East Asia in Winter 2021.
