Our weekly video game deals roundup gets an extra special spruce this Labor Day weekend thanks to a number of discount on the 8th gen console systems. The Xbox One S is receiving a major push from Microsoft, with the cheapest $299 Halo Collection bundle receiving a bonus $50 gift card along with a free game as extra incentive. This deal for the Xbox One S ends the night of September 6.
On the PlayStation 4 side, select retailers are offloading the console given PlayStation 4 Slim will be arriving soon later this month. At dell, you can pick up a PS4 Black Ops 3 bundle with a $100 rebate; or at eBay deals you can pick up a brand new PlayStation 4 console with extra controllers for $299. Â Even Nintendo’s Wii U is receiving a discount and incentive this weekend, as the official Nintendo eBay store are selling off Wii U Deluxe bundles for $225, with an extra $25 gift card tossed in for good measure.
Finally, on the PC deal scene, we have last Tuesday’s release of God Eater 2: Rage Burst back at $41.99 (still includes a free copy of God Eater: Resurrection). There is also Steam copies of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for only $16 over at GMG (no coupon needed but you’ll have to login to see the full discount).
