Mecha Racing Game Break Arts II Is Now Available on the PlayStation 4

Playism has released Break Arts II on the PlayStation 4. The mecha racing game is now available globally on the PlayStation Store. One of Break Arts II‘s biggest features is mech customization. Player can choose from a wide variety of robot parts. Some of them even feature dynamic movements, such as folding and rotations.

Additionally, players can carry weapons and traps that they can then use to damage and slow down other opponents. They can also use the Override system to make their mech temporarily invincible from such impediments. The game features offline single-player and online multiplayer modes, and the races support up to six participants. Players can also customize their mechs’ winning pose, should they make it onto the top three podium.

Break Arts II is a sequel to the 2015 mobile game Break Arts: Cyber Battle Racing made by the Japanese indie team MercuryStudio. The prequel is no longer available to download as Playism took it down from mobile app stores recently on August 31, 2021.

Playism initially revealed Break Arts II in March 2017, although it would later launch the game officially on Steam in February 2018. The PlayStation 4 version has arrived over three years after the original PC release.

Break Arts II is now available on PC and PlayStation 4.
