Monster Hunter World Official Complete Works Arrives in August

There’s a new book on the way, and it will be perfect for people who enjoy poring over every detail about the Monster Hunter series. Get ready to get very invested, as Viz Media will released the Monster Hunter World Official Complete Works on August 11, 2020. The $50 book will provide various insights into the game and its world.

This is a localization of a rather old tome, so don’t expect any Monster Hunter World: Iceborne details in it. This 560-page compendium originally launched back in Japan in January 2018 as Dive to Monster Hunter World Official Design Works, right around when the game had its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One debut. The localization was confirmed back in October 2019.

In addition to acting as a bestiary for the monsters in the game, it looks at concept art for the title, goes over all the equipment you could forge from various monster parts, and has developer commentary and interviews. It is also a paperback, so you might want to be careful when going through this massive book. You can think of it as primarily being an art book, but there are plenty of insights to help people learn more about how the game was made.

Monster Hunter World and its Iceborne expansion are available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Monster Hunter World Official Complete Works will be available on August 11, 2020.
