Over this weekend, Muv-Luv series developer âge revealed on their livestream that the Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After set of side story visual novels will be brought onto Steam. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After are a set of short stories that were included with the Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles side story and content compilations, detailing the fate of mankind after the events of Muv-Luv Unlimited. Currently there are four stories, titled ‘Episode 00′, ’01’, ’02’, and ’03’ respectively, with each chapter being released as part of a Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles release. All four episodes are currently slated to be released on Steam. âge also confirmed on the livestream that The Day After Episode 04 is currently in development, meaning that it’s likely that it will be released as part of a fifth Alternative Chronicles.
Additionally, apart from the Steam version, âge also made a surprise announcement that they are looking into possibly releasing the The Day After visual novels on smartphones with app versions. Currently, the original Muv-Luv visual novel is not available on iOS and Android.
Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles is currently available on PC, and is planned for digital release via Steam. The original Muv-Luv is available on Steam in English, and recently, the Alternative Codex became available for all players to purchase as an extra.
