NieR: Automata Pre-Order Deal for PC Steam Digital Copy

With NieR: Automata coming out for the PS4 tomorrow the excitement train is running at full steam ahead. PC gamers have to wait another week for the March 17 release, but with the PC port copy shooting up to the #1 top selling slot on Steam last week, the PC crowd is indeed on board.

While the deals we’ve found for PS4 copies are limited to just Dell’s $25 eGift Card and pay-for-a-discount Amazon Prime/Best Buy GCU, PC gamers can avoid fiddling with that and enjoy a quick and easy 18% discount on the Steam copy of NieR: Automata. GMG’s “VIP” discount takes the game down to a reasonable $49.29 on the Day One Edition of NieR: Automata. The discount also extends to those in the EU/UK.

Game Title List % Off Sale Price
NieR: Automata Day One Edition (Steam) $59.99 18% $49.29
NieR: Automata + $25 eGift Card (PS4) $59.99

If you don’t see the discounted price, just create an account, login and you’ll be able to purchase PlatniumGames’ latest at the reduced price. The Day One Edition includes the “Valve Character Accessory” as an “exclusive digital bonus content.” You’ll find various cosmetic add-ons such as the cardboard pod skin, the retro grey/red pod skin, the grimoire weiss pod, and the machine mask accessory.

None of these are going to make the game play that much more amazing, but it does check off those usual requirements publishers need for release week sales marketing. The PC version arrives on March 17, 2017 and pre-load should start later next week. As mentioned, reception on the game looks favorable as it’s still the #3 top selling game on GMG and Steam – just slightly below tomorrow’s bigger Triple-A Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
