With the media churning the rumor mill on the Nintendo NX before it’s been officially announced, Nintendo think it’s a good time to sell off their old Wii U consoles. Apparently they’ve overstocked on the White 32GB Deluxe consoles, as they are now offering a $75 discount plus a $25 gift card bonus on refurbished Wii U units.

The deal for $225 + $25 bonus was posted on Nintendo’s eBay page earlier today at 10am Pacific. Word from eBay is Nintendo’s selling 500 of these units there with the discount + gift card bonus.

If you’re not familiar with Wii U prices these days, the $75 discount to $225 isn’t anything crazy new. It’s a good price that was seen on Nintendo’s eBay store page earlier this summer in July. That said, the $25 eBay gift card bonus is a new addition that beats anything we’ve seen thus far in 2016.

The Wii U console is a refurbished unit but includes a full 1 year warranty from Nintendo. This Wii U 32GB isn’t technically a Deluxe console because it doesn’t come with the stands, but like Deluxe, you get two free games bundled in: Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land. As far as we know, these are digital pre-installed copies (bummer).

Shipping is free in the continental US. The estimated delivery time is kinda wack on standard shipping – anywhere from 2 to 8 business days. Expedited shipping will cost you $10 and gets you the console by Tuesday, September 6, while the most expensive one day shipping gets you the console by Friday, September 2.
