No Straight Roads Digital and Physical Copies Will Appear in August 2020

It’s been a long, hard road with various delays, but the rhythm game from Final Fantasy XV Lead Game Designer Wan Hazmer finally has a release date. All No Straight Roads digital copies will be available on August 25, 2020. However, when it comes to physical copies, not all of them will be out that same day. Only the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ones will show up on the same day as the digital release, as the Nintendo Switch version will arrive later.

As for the No Straight Roads physical copies, both the $39.99 standard and $69.99 collector’s editions will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 25, 2020. If you go for the LE, you get a pair of NSR drumsticks, a 64-page art book, and the game’s soundtrack on vinyl. (Which is appropriate, considering this is a rhythm game set in Vinyl City.)

To help give a better idea of what this rhythm game is like, a BitSummit Gaiden trailer appeared introducing the heroes Mayday and Zuke. It looks at the different levels and some of the people the duo will encounter when trying to fight EDM with rock and roll. It shows off both the basic attacks against enemies, as well as as many of the NSR EDM boss fights.

And here are some new screenshots showing off the lead characters, a few of the bosses, and No Straight Roads’ environments.

No Straight Roads digital copies will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 25, 2020. The physical PlayStation 4 and Xbox One copies will also appear on August 25, 2020, with the Nintendo Switch ones arriving at a later date.
